Robotics Data Collection Operator
About Dexmate
Dexmate is building the platform for physical AI — general-purpose humanoid robots and the full-stack infrastructure powering them. Our mission is to make physical AI accessible to every developer, the way cloud computing made software infrastructure accessible before it. We’re building systems that learn from real-world data.
The Role
You will operate our robots through a wearable exoskeleton system to generate the high-quality data that trains them. This is not a simulation role — you will work with real robotic hardware, real environments, and real task execution.
This is an on-site contract position based at our Singapore lab, with working hours and contract duration aligned to active data collection campaigns.
You’ll perform structured manipulation tasks repeatedly and precisely to help us collect diverse, high-quality training data for our robotics models. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where consistency, precision, and attention to detail matter.
What You’ll Do
Teleoperate robotic arms using Dexmate’s exoskeleton system, where your movements directly control the robot
Execute predefined manipulation tasks such as picking, placing, sorting, and assembly
Repeat tasks consistently to generate high-volume, high-quality training data
Follow structured task instructions, SOPs, and data collection workflows
Perform task variations based on engineering and data collection needs
Provide feedback on system behavior, usability, task execution, and data quality
Reset and maintain the workspace between data collection runs
Maintain safe and controlled operation of robotic hardware in a lab environment
What We’re Looking For
Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
High attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions precisely and consistently
Comfortable with repetitive, precision-focused work
Ability to stay focused for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Comfortable working hands-on with robotic hardware
Nice to Have
Experience with VR/AR systems such as Meta Quest or Apple Vision Pro
Familiarity with gaming, remote-control systems, or simulation environments
Experience operating machinery or other hand-controlled equipment
Exposure to robotics, teleoperation, or similar systems
Why This Role Matters
Every movement you make becomes training data. That data helps robots learn how to perform real-world tasks, from simple manipulation to increasingly complex workflows.
You’ll work directly with cutting-edge robotic hardware and alongside our robotics and AI teams, contributing to the data that shapes how our robots learn to interact with the physical world.
