Sales & Project Management Manager

Omaha, NebraskaFull TimePosted Sep 24, 2026

About the Position

CRDN Midwest is looking for a strong people leader to manage and develop our Project Management and Business Development/Sales teams.

This position is being created to provide both teams with consistent, hands-on leadership every day. We are looking for someone who enjoys developing people, coaching employees, creating accountability, and helping teams perform at a higher level.

This is not a position for someone who wants to manage from a distance. The right person will be present, accessible, and actively engaged with both teams every day.

Success in this role will not be measured by how many jobs you personally manage or how much work you take on yourself. It will be measured by how well you develop people, improve performance, create consistency, and build strong teams.

This position reports directly to the General Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Provide daily leadership and support to the Project Management and Business Development/Sales teams.
  • Be available throughout the workday for questions, coaching, direction, and problem-solving.
  • Proactively check in with employees rather than waiting for issues to arise.
  • Maintain awareness of major jobs, customer concerns, sales opportunities, and team priorities.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching, training, and performance conversations.
  • Lead Project Management and Business Development/Sales team meetings.
  • Train and onboard new Project Managers and Business Development/Sales employees.
  • Review Project Manager job progress, documentation, customer communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Coach the Sales/BD team on prospecting, relationship development, account growth, follow-up, and pipeline management.
  • Monitor team and individual KPIs and hold employees accountable to established expectations.
  • Identify performance gaps and provide coaching or retraining.
  • Develop practical training based on recurring issues and team needs.
  • Support employees with difficult customer, client, or job situations when management involvement is needed.
  • Identify staffing needs before teams become overwhelmed.
  • Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and developing new team members.
  • Work directly with the General Manager on employee performance, staffing needs, training priorities, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong leadership and people-development skills.
  • Enjoys coaching, training, and helping employees improve.
  • Comfortable holding people accountable and having difficult performance conversations when necessary.
  • Clear communicator with strong follow-through.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and able to recognize issues before they become larger problems.
  • Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to balance supporting employees with teaching them to solve problems independently.
  • Comfortable leading both project-management and sales/business-development employees.
  • Willing to jump in and help when business needs require it.
  • Focused on building strong teams rather than personally controlling every task.
