The Pharmacist  provides pharmacy consulting services with empathy to patience 
regarding effective usage of medications and awareness with drug interactions. This role offers 
preventative and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and 
patient outcome services.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

● Greets patients, helps them with products and services and resolves patient issues, all with 
care, empathy,
inclusivity, curiosity, professionalism and excellent customer service.
● Proactively offers services to patients and strives to resolve issues quickly and completely, 
whether in the pharmacy or by making connections throughout the service offerings of Fishing Point 
Healthcare.
● Serves as on duty supervisor, overseeing the work of all pharmacy staff, ensuring that schedules 
are
communicated, staff’s needs are met, reports are completed and functions of the department are 
managed.
● Supports pharmacy staff through training, inventory monitoring, equipment/maintenance reports, 
etc.
● Maintains excellent electronic health records.
● Performs Retail Pharmacist functions: claim adjudication, patient counseling/advocacy, liaison 
services.
● Make clinical decisions on and appropriately dispense prescriptions from physicians orders and 
all applicable law considering: drug interactions, allergy profile, dosage, strength, quantity 
checks, etc.
● Assists Pharmacy Director in evaluating the performance of the pharmacy staff.
● Facilitating a healthy work environment among staff and an excellent care experience for 
patients.
● Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements / Qualifications:
● Obtain and maintain certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life 
Support)
● Maintain all licensures/certifications and current state/federal knowledge while also staying 
current on
advancements in the professional pharmacy and healthcare fields
● Good computer skills and fluency in EMR
● Develops and maintains good community relationships, advancing the awareness of Fishing Point 
Healthcare
● Ability to facilitate an excellent team environment among staff and excellent care environment 
for patients
● Empathy and organizational skills are both paramount
● Successful Completion of a Drug Screen and Background Check


Education and Experience:
● BS ins Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution
● Minimum three years of full pharmacy experience
● Minimum one year supervisor experience in a pharmacy setting
● Current full, unrestricted pharmacist license


Work Environment:
● In-person, office-based setting with occasional local travel required.
● Collaboration with internal teams and external clients as needed.

● On-site and Off-site hours anticipated, 3-4/hrs day of sitting and 3-4/hrs day of 
standing/walking. Driving needed. Work days may exceed eight hours.
