Yojee

Sr Product Manager (Technical)

Sydney, New South WalesFull TimePosted Sep 6, 2026

Be part of something

Every time a shipment moves, Yojee makes it visible, intelligent, and efficient. We build the technology that moves freight across air, ocean, and road—connecting operators, customers, partners, systems, and decisions through one logistics operating platform.

With MOSAIC and TCMS, we build products for a globally complex industry: real-time events, high data volumes, difficult integrations, and mission-critical workflows.

If you're a technically fluent Product leader who wants to build the foundations that make several teams faster, this role is for you.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager — Core Domains to own the Product direction for the internal capabilities that enable Mosaic's Operations Tribe.

Core Domains brings together three connected capability areas: Canonical Data & Entity Governance, Connector Platform, and Automation & Agentic AI. Together they provide the governed concepts, ecosystem connectivity, and intelligent foundations Operations teams use to compose customer outcomes. The appendix describes each pillar in detail.

You won't manage a Product team directly, but you will shape outcomes across several teams through strategy, discovery, prioritisation, internal-product craft, and technical fluency. You'll partner with the CPO on Product direction, customer value, and portfolio priorities, and with the CTO on platform strategy, architecture, and Engineering leverage. Each retains their own authority; you own the Core Domains portfolio within those directions.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Core Domains Strategy and Portfolio: Set a coherent vision, roadmap, priorities, and measurable outcomes across all three pillars, balancing immediate Operations needs against reuse, governance, risk, and long-term platform leverage—with trade-offs explicit and evidence-backed.
  • Treat Shared Capabilities as Internal Products: Understand consuming teams, adoption barriers, and lifecycle needs. Define supported paths, interfaces, documentation, feedback loops, and retirement triggers.
  • Enable the Operations Tribe: Partner with Freight Operations, Customs and Regulatory, and Commercial and Financial Flow to reduce repeated work—without absorbing their customer-outcome accountability.
  • Lead Domain and Data Product Direction: Own the direction for canonical concepts, identities, relationships, lifecycle states, master/reference data, provenance, and governed external representations.
  • Shape the Connector Platform: Define the end-to-end connector lifecycle, from definition and installation through operation, health, upgrade, recovery, and retirement.
  • Lead Automation and Agentic AI: Identify high-value automation and define production agents through their roles, tasks, tools, authority, human oversight, evaluations, observability, cost, and recovery. Ensure production AI inherits Mosaic's domain language, identity, tenancy, authorisation, privacy, and contracts—fluent output is not acceptance evidence, and AI does not silently gain business authority.
  • Run Discovery and Shape Work Early: Turn ambiguous platform needs into clear choices with Operations, customers, Design, Engineering, and Security—making assumptions, dependencies, and constraints explicit before implementation becomes expensive.
  • Partner Deeply With Engineering: Work through domain boundaries, APIs, events, data, integrations, identity, authorisation, workflow, and observability, understanding trade-offs without prescribing implementation.
  • Define Evidence of Readiness and Value: Distinguish component completion from consumer adoption, operator-ready state, and realised value, and decide when to continue, expand, narrow, or stop. Surface tensions early with options and evidence, and use supported services and time-limited facilitation so Core Domains never becomes the mandatory implementer or approver.

What You'll Bring:

  • Product Leadership: Typically 7+ years in Product Management, with evidence of shaping outcomes across multiple teams or a significant technical portfolio—including ownership of a complex platform, integration ecosystem, data product, workflow system, or multi-team domain.
  • Technical Product Fluency: Strong working knowledge across several of APIs, data models, events, integrations, identity, authorisation, distributed systems, workflow automation, AI, or platform architecture.
  • Internal-Product Experience, Adoption Over Output: Shared capabilities built for identifiable consumers, with evidence they became independently usable and improved delivery, reliability, service quality, or autonomy.
  • Discovery Craft and Decision-Making in Ambiguity: Moving from ambiguous problems to clear direction, executable briefs, and measurable outcomes—comparing viable options, recommending a path, exposing uncertainty, and planning incrementally with explicit review conditions.
  • Platform and Commercial Judgement: Connecting technical investment to customer value, delivery speed, platform leverage, operational cost, risk, and supportability.
  • Executive Partnership and Cross-Team Influence: Confidence with CPO and CTO leadership, and able to align teams without formal authority or becoming a permanent approval gate.
  • AI Product Judgement: Practical understanding of production AI orchestration, tool use, context and state, evaluation, observability, human oversight, security, and failure modes.

We don't expect the deepest specialist in freight, data governance, connector architecture, and Agentic AI. We do expect strong Product craft, real technical fluency, and evidence you can learn deeply enough to make responsible portfolio decisions without lowering the production bar.

Bonus Points For

  • Freight forwarding, logistics, customs, supply chain, transport, or another multi-party regulated domain
  • Domain-driven design, master or reference data, entity governance, ontology, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data models
  • Connector or developer platforms, partner ecosystems, public APIs, integration marketplaces, or event-driven systems
  • Production workflow automation, agents, document intelligence, or decision-support systems—including evaluation, orchestration, and safe-failure design
  • Introducing shared capabilities without creating bottlenecks, in scaling-stage environments where Product and Engineering systems are being established, not inherited

Why You'll Love Working Here

🌏 Real Systems, Real-World Impact: Shape the platform foundations behind complex operational workflows across air, ocean, and road freight.

🧱 Build Durable Capability: Turn recurring Product and technical needs into capabilities that improve how multiple teams and products operate.

🤝 Work at the Product–Technology Intersection: Partner directly with the CPO and CTO on consequential Product, platform, and investment choices.

🚀 Enable Teams, Don't Run a Queue: Measure your impact through stronger Operations autonomy, adopted capabilities, and reduced repeated work.

🤖 Build Production Agentic AI: Help define how trusted automation and role-aware agents operate inside Mosaic, with human judgement and accountability remaining central.

🌱 A Clear Impact Framework: Progression is grounded in scope, organisational leverage, adopted capability, and observable outcomes—not title tenure or activity volume.
