Sales Enablement Specialist / Lead
Hong Kong, Wan ChaiFull TimePosted Jul 15, 2026
About the role
As our founding Sales Enablement hire, this is a ground-floor opportunity to build the function from scratch. You'll design — from a blank page — how inline equips its Business Development (BD) and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan to succeed. Your work shows up directly in how quickly new hires ramp, how confidently the team sells, and how the business grows.
The opportunity
- Build, don't inherit. You'll shape the enablement function from the ground up, rather than step into someone else's playbook.
- Visible impact. What you build feeds directly into how quickly new hires find their feet and how confidently the team sells.
- Autonomy to shape it. A senior individual contributor role with real latitude, working closely with BD, CSM, and leadership.
- Room to grow. As the function scales across markets — and, over time, into a team — the role can grow in leadership scope, with compensation moving in step.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and consult: partner with BD and CSM managers to get to the root of performance gaps — distinguishing knowledge, skill, process, and motivation — and design targeted solutions rather than one-size-fits-all fixes.
- Own onboarding and ramp: architect the end-to-end journey for GTM new hires, anchored to a clear "time-to-productivity" measure.
- Build the methodology and playbooks: shape a unified sales methodology and practical playbooks across the merchant lifecycle.
- Create and maintain the enablement toolkit: build and own a single source of truth for sales assets, battlecards, and training materials — keeping it structured, up to date, and easy to navigate, and equipping the team to sell new features at launch.
- Measure what matters: define and track the signals that show enablement is working.
This role is for you if
- You get energy from a blank page and ambiguity — you'd rather build than maintain.
- You diagnose before you solve: you dig for the real cause of a problem instead of reaching for the obvious fix.
- You communicate with clarity — you can make a complex thing simple and land it with a room of salespeople.
- You want ownership now, and a path to lead as the function grows.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in a commercial, frontline environment — sales/BD, customer success, or sales enablement. This hands-on experience matters most; you don't need to have managed a team.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills — you create clear, usable materials and keep the sales content hub structured, current, and easy to navigate.
- Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken); Cantonese required for Hong Kong–based candidates and an advantage in Singapore.
- Above all, the two qualities under "This role is for you if" — diagnostic problem-solving and clear communication — are what we'll weigh most heavily.
- A plus, but not required: experience designing training or onboarding, building sales playbooks or content, a background in SaaS or Food-Tech, or experience coaching or leading a frontline team.
