QA/QC Engineer

Live Payments is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join our growing multinational team based in Vietnam. Reporting directly to our Vietnam based Team Leader, your key objective will be ensuring the quality of our existing and future products.

Core duties include:

• Execute tests, analyse results, and raise and track defects
• Run integration, functional, system, acceptance, performance, and regression tests 
• Perform API and integration testing across our payment services 
• Design and write test cases, regression tests, and scenarios 
• Maintain test artefacts and the regression suite 
• Analyse recurring defects to find root causes and prevent repeats 
• Present ideas and demonstrate product increments to stakeholders 
• Contribute to Scrum events (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective) 
• Shape our products with input on user stories, designs, and usability 
• Maintain relationships across the project and other Live Payments' teams 

AI-FIRST TESTING:

At Live Payments, AI is part of how we work every day, and we want QA engineers who reach for it first. You'll use AI to work faster and test more thoroughly, always reviewing what it produces before it's used. 

• Use AI to turn user stories and acceptance criteria into test cases and scenarios, including the edge and negative cases that are easy to miss. 
  
• Generate realistic test data and boundary conditions to strengthen your coverage. 
  
• Automate the repetitive parts of your workflow and use AI to help draft and maintain automated test scripts as the product changes. 
  
• Build your own tools and utilities with AI, such as small scripts, test helpers, or dashboards that speed up the team, even without a heavy development background. 
  
• Investigate failures faster with AI's help by reading logs, spotting flaky tests, and narrowing down likely causes. 
  
• Write clear, reproducible defect reports and concise test summaries. 
  
• Direct AI tools with clear, well-structured instructions, and know when to trust the output and when to push back. You stay accountable for quality.

• Experience working with Agile methodology and project/test management tools
