Source Inspection Support

Overview

Support inspection of Mechanical and Electromechanical Parts at suppliers in Switzerland.

An inspector is required to visit multiple Swiss-based suppliers, mainly for the validation of mechanical parts.

Supporting visits at suppliers typically once or twice a month for a day per visit, travel time, mileage and overnight expenses are all included.

• Must have experience with the Aerospace and/or Defence industry.
• For Mechanical Parts, need to have experience with mechanical endurance theory and painting + chemical treatments.
• For Cable inspection, IPC620 qualifications or proven experience are required.
• IPC610 experience would also be beneficial for Electromechanical components.

The task will include:

• Document review.
• Shipping & packaging confirmation.
• Confirmation of work orders and sampling plans.
• Inspection of sample parts.
• Reporting promptly and comprehensively.
