Job Details
- Dedicated live chicken haul operation
- Operate within a 300-mile radius of Millsboro, DE
- Pick up live chickens from various farms
- Deliver to the Millsboro facility
- Flatbed trailer with chicken cages
- Approximately 3–4 inbound loads per day
- Average 15–20 stops per week
- Drivers secure chicken cages at farms using a cheater bar
- Farm roads may include steep grades, bumps, and ditches
Shift Details
- Monday-Friday
- Start times between 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
- Required to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Must be comfortable working around live poultry
- Must be able to secure loads using a cheater bar
- Must safely navigate difficult farm roads and uneven terrain
- Must be comfortable with flatbed operations
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
