Description
Industrial Valve Sales and Service is seeking a talented Control Valve Technician for their location in Mobile, AL. The role will involve Shop & Field work on Control Valve repairs.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follows safety and quality procedures
- Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices
- Control Valve Tech responsibilities
- Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
- Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring
- Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)
- Enjoy doing mechanical work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Maintain equipment in area, as required
- May be required to help in field assignments
- Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
- Must be able to operate motor vehicle
- Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace
- Must be able to document and enter job data
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred)
- Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred)
- Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred)
- 5 years or more control valve industrial experience
