The Audiology Extern will work with a mentor under direct supervision to receive training and expertise to aid in preparation for a professional career in audiology.
Essential Responsibilities

Perform with supervision all audiology outpatient services including audiograms, vestibular testing, auditory evoked potentials and hearing aids.
May provide presentations to audiology team members or leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science required. Completed 3 years of an accredited Audiology Program.
Experience Requirements: No experience required.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Working toward or obtained ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) required.

Knowledge of audiology techniques and practices.
Ability to perform basic patient assessment.
