HR Specialist
About us
emater is a fast-growing, performance-driven e-commerce company — the parent company behind four DTC brands creating global impact.
Based in Miami, with offices in Armenia and Israel and a team spanning the globe, we handle everything in-house from A to Z: operations, marketing, product development, and customer experience.
We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our HR team.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end recruitment process for your assigned roles - sourcing, assessing and closing candidates across different functions and departments.
Alongside that, you will be involved across the employee cycle, from onboarding through HR administration and employee relations.
You will work closely with hiring managers and team leads across the business, and you will see the results of your work in how the company hires and grows.
Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Own end-to-end hiring on your assigned roles: intake with the hiring manager, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, test tasks and offer
- Source actively through diverse channels, job portals, referrals and direct outreach, and build pipelines for roles we hire repeatedly
- Partner with hiring managers across all departments - align on the profile, guide the process, and keep it moving
- Manage candidate communication end to end and protect the candidate experience at every stage
- Manage offers and negotiations, ensuring a smooth and professional closing experience.
- Keep pipelines and candidate data accurate and up to date
- Track and report on hiring progress: open roles, pipeline health, time to hire
HR administration
- Prepare employee documentation and maintain employee data
- Ensure employee documentation and HR practices remain aligned with applicable requirements and the RA Labour Code.
- Support office-related HR operations, including supplies and employee needs.
Employee relations
- Act as a first point of contact for employees on HR questions
- Manage the probation process from goal setting and check-ins through to final assessment.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in HR/recruitment, with a strong track record of owning end-to-end hiring across diverse functions.
- Strong sourcing and hiring techniques
- Experience beyond recruitment: HR documentation, employee records, onboarding or employee relations
- Confident using AI tools in daily work — identifying where they can make processes faster and putting them into practice
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment and adapting as things change
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to find solutions quickly and take ownership of problems
- Working knowledge of Armenian labour law as it applies to employment documentation is a big plus
The role is full-time and office-based.
What we offer
- Paid days off, medical insurance, yearly bonus, wellness benefits, and referral bonuses.
- A collaborative, supportive environment where your ideas and professional growth are highly valued.
