Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Department: Medical Services

Location: Bergen County

Status: Non-exempt | 20–25 hours per week

Pay Rate: $31/hour

Reports To: Nurse Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and culturally aware Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team in providing high-quality primary and preventive healthcare to a diverse, uninsured population. You’ll work collaboratively with medical practitioners and nurses in a supportive and respectful care environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health needs and dietary patterns
  • Counsel patients on nutrition and healthy eating habits
  • Create culturally appropriate, cost-effective meal plans
  • Evaluate and modify meal plans based on patient progress
  • Provide individual and group education on nutrition-related disease prevention and management
  • Document education and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate as part of a treatment team on care plans and referrals

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of nutritional science
  • Experience in a multi-provider or hospital-based outpatient setting
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
