Business Development Representative, Outbound

Pasig, PH, Metro ManilaFull TimePosted Jul 15, 2026

ECAM is looking for talented individuals like you! Be the next Business Development Representative, Outbound.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) takes the intelligence built by the research team and turns it into human connection. This role runs targeted outbound campaigns — email, LinkedIn, phone — designed to open conversations with the right decision-makers at the right companies and convert those conversations into booked appointments for U.S. sales reps.

The BDR is not blasting cold outreach into the void. Every campaign is built on a researched prospect with a known pain point and a specific ECAM solution that matches it. The job is to take great intelligence and turn it into a meeting. Reps show up, the BDR gets them there.

Job Highlights:

-Day 1 HMO for you and two (2) of your dependents.

-Annual and Performance Based Salary Increase

-Additional Leave Credits

Duties & Responsibilities:

Outbound Campaign Execution

  • Execute personalized outbound email sequences for Market Activation Program prospect lists — tailored to vertical, decision-maker role, and specific pain point identified by research team
  • Run LinkedIn outreach campaigns — connection requests, direct messages, content engagement — targeting named decision-makers at priority accounts
  • Make outbound calls to warm prospects — accounts where email or LinkedIn engagement signals interest
  • Manage multi-touch sequences across channels — a prospect may receive email on Monday, LinkedIn message Wednesday, and a call Friday before they respond
  • Personalize every outreach message using the intelligence package built by the research team — never send generic outreach

Appointment Setting

  • Convert warm responses into booked discovery calls for the appropriate U.S. sales rep — field AE, Strategic rep, or ECAM Market rep depending on account profile
  • Brief the U.S. rep before every appointment — provide the prospect profile, the conversation thread, what the prospect expressed interest in, and any context needed to run a strong first call
  • Follow up with no-shows within 24 hours to reschedule
  • Track appointment outcomes — did the rep convert the meeting to an opportunity? Use that feedback to improve targeting

Campaign Management

  • Manage outreach sequences in CRM — log all activity, update contact records, flag warm prospects for priority follow-up
  • Work with the Manager to build and test new outreach messaging by vertical — what works in retail may not work in construction
  • Monitor reply rates, open rates, and connection acceptance rates — surface what is working and what is not
  • Support event and conference follow-up — after NRF Protect, LPRC, BOMA, or any ECAM event, run outreach to all contacts made within 48 hours of the event
  • Build and maintain target account lists in CRM — keep records current, flag accounts that have gone cold, and cycle in new prospects from the research team

Qualifications:

    Required

    • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales development, BDR, or appointment setting — U.S.-facing B2B environment strongly preferred
    • Excellent written English — outreach messages must sound natural, professional, and personalized. Generic copy kills response rates.
    • Strong spoken English — comfortable on the phone with U.S. decision-makers
    • Comfortable with rejection and persistence — outbound is a numbers game with a long feedback loop. This role requires discipline and resilience.
    • Experience with email sequencing tools — Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar
    • LinkedIn proficiency — knows how to use Sales Navigator for targeted prospecting and outreach

    Strongly Preferred

    • Experience booking appointments for U.S.-based enterprise sales teams from a Philippines-based role
    • Familiarity with security, technology, construction, or retail industries — understands the context of the conversations being opened
    • Experience working with CRM platforms — Salesforce preferred
    • Track record of consistently hitting appointment booking targets in a metrics-driven environment
    • Understanding of U.S. business culture and communication norms — knows how decision-makers in the U.S. expect to be approached
