Head of Brazil

São Paulo, Brazil | Reports to the CEO | Travel to San Francisco once or twice a month

About Terac

Terac is an AI-native expert marketplace. We connect a large global network of verified contributors to paid work for market research firms and AI and human data labs. The company is growing fast, and we've raised $16M from Emergence Capital, SV Angel, SignalFire and others.

One of our fastest-growing lines is physical workforce: real-world data collection sold directly to frontier robotics labs. We already run active operations in Brazil.

The role

As Head of Brazil, you will open Terac's São Paulo office and build the local team that scales physical workforce operations across Latin America. You report directly to Zac, our Co-Founder and CEO, who will be on the ground in São Paulo to help get the office open.

The role covers operations, business development, and team-building. You will be a core part of the company and very involved in how this business line takes shape.

What you'll do

- Open and run the São Paulo office and hub.

- Own day-to-day field operations for real-world data collection: onboarding partner businesses, managing devices and daily data logistics, and hitting delivery and quality targets.

- Sign and grow local partner businesses, and support our relationships with frontier robotics lab customers.

- Hire and lead a local team.

- Build the forecasting, quotas, and reporting that turn the ramp into a science.

- Expand into new environments and new countries across Latin America.

Who you are

- You have a founder mentality and want to start your own company one day.

- You have early-stage startup experience in Brazil or the US, or you currently run your own small business and want a new challenge.

- You are comfortable owning messy, physical operations from end to end.

- You are fluent in Portuguese and English.

Backgrounds that tend to fit well include Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, strategy consulting, and other operator roles.

What we offer

- Salary: $100K to $150K.

- Commission: $100K to $200K a year, as a direct revenue share on the business you bring in.

- Equity: meaningful equity, vesting over four years.

- Moving here: a $10K relocation bonus to move to São Paulo, and $5K more if you live within half a mile of the office.

- Benefits: health insurance.

- Growth: the chance to build a business line from the ground up, with direct access to the CEO.
