Job Summary
This position is for primary receiving, stocking, unloading/loading, and inventory management. Computer use/data entry, use of forklifts/motorized equipment, local travel to pick up and delivery, lifting up to 50 pounds, cleaning, customer service, and assisting other departments, as needed, are also aspects of the job.
Duties/Responsibilities of Receiving Team Member
Primary:
- Receives goods and verifies the accuracy, quality and count of all incoming products; checks against suppliers’ count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisors, and purchasing officers per company policy.
- Stocks inventory in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate records using company’s operating software.
- Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle, as needed.
- Transportation of Inventory to and from SurePoint Electronics.
Secondary:
- Processing new parts.
- Assisting with inventory counts & control.
- Providing customer service at Parts Counter.
- Helping customers with loading and unloading.
- Assisting other departments.
- Local pickup and delivery of goods.
- Assisting with RMA/RTV’s.
Required Skills:
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
- Efficiency in operating forklifts and all work assistance vehicles.
- This position must obtain Medical Card for DOT compliance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Expenses
The employee will be reimbursed for all travel and other expenses incurred while executing the duties of the position.
Other Duties
The position will have other duties not specifically defined above that are essential for the overall success of SurePoint Ag.

In addition to the specific duties detailed above, you are expected to provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag through collaboration, teamwork and communication.
Location
This position will be located at SurePoint Ag Systems in Atwood, KS.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the Production Center and outside.
