Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administration of HR programs and processes across the global organization, and for supporting the global Human Resources team.    


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment, interviewing and selection of prospective employees.
  • Coordinate Onboarding process, including background checks, entry into HR platforms, new hire paperwork and orientation.
  • Maintain the HR database with new hire information and any updates. (BambooHR)
  • Administer compensation policies to ensure equity and compliance across the organization.
  • Administer employee benefits to include completing appropriate paperwork and entry into benefit platforms.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of up-to-date job descriptions.
  • Maintain employee handbook to include processing updates and distribution of changes as needed.
  • Assist with investigation and resolution of employee issues/complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate Off-boarding process
  • Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 3-5+ of relevant HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in both domestic and international recruiting and HR operations is helpful.
  • Experience writing HR policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of employment law, recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and collaboratively to help develop and implement HR processes.
  • Proficient computer skills – especially Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) and HRIS/HRM systems. BambooHR experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communications skills, oral and written.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, decentralized and geographically diverse organizational structure.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience in non-profit organization is helpful.
  • Commitment to WHIs Christian mission and values.
