Hexa

Product Lead @Panora

ParisFull TimePosted Jul 24, 2026

🚀 Why this role

Panora is building the AI platform that will redefine how insurance brokers work across Europe.

The problem is structural: brokers spend the majority of their time on repetitive, manual tasks (switching between carrier portals, chasing documents, re-entering data) instead of advising clients. The result? Underinsured businesses, frustrated brokers, and a profession stuck in the past.

We believe AI can fix this. Not by replacing brokers, but by giving every broker the capabilities of the best one in the room: on every case, at every critical moment. That's the vision we've been pitching to VCs. That's what we're building.

Panora has live product, first paying customers, and a roadmap far bigger than our current team. The foundations are solid, built with Hexa's support, with strong technical and product groundwork already in place. Now we need someone to take ownership of that vision and turn it into a product brokers love.

You'll be our first Product hire. You won't just manage a backlog, you'll shape how an entire industry modernizes. You'll own the roadmap, build the product function from scratch, and make sure every feature we ship moves us closer to a world where no one is underinsured.

🎯 Your mission

Take Panora's product from "it works" to "it's the reference": structure discovery, relentlessly prioritize, and quickly scope the features that unlock adoption and retention among brokerage firms.

📋 What you'll do

Discovery: understand, explore, prototype

  • Field discovery: spend time with brokers (demos, calls, on-site visits) to understand their day-to-day quoting workflow and spot the real friction points, not surface-level requests.

  • Insurance domain interface: translate the constraints of brokerage and carriers (products, quoting rules, regulation) into product decisions.

  • Product design: frame flows and screens (with engineering support), keeping a high bar on simplicity for non-technical users.

Delivery: prioritize, spec, ship

  • Roadmap & prioritization with founders: build and continuously arbitrate the product roadmap, make trade-offs between business impact, technical debt and speed, and say no.

  • Specs & delivery: write clear specs, scope work with engineers, and drive delivery end to end through to production.

  • Product voice internally: align sales and ops on the "what" and the "why," bridging customer needs and what we build. Own the weekly product meeting.

  • Data & impact: instrument, measure usage (activation, retention, feature adoption via PostHog) and close the loop between product decisions and results.

Quality: make the AI trustworthy

  • AI agentic workflows: design and iterate on the AI agents at Panora's core (multi-carrier quoting, document generation, compliance checks). You define what the agent does, how it handles edge cases, and where the human stays in the loop. You work closely with engineering to tune prompts, evaluate outputs, and push coverage.

  • AI feedback loop: build the instrumentation that makes AI outputs improvable: capture broker corrections, flag low-confidence outputs, and turn real-world usage into a continuous improvement cycle. You own the gap between "AI generates" and "broker trusts."

✅ What we're looking for

  • 4-6 years of product experience, including at least one role in a B2B SaaS environment with real roadmap ownership.

  • You've already driven a product end to end: discovery → specs → delivery → impact measurement, autonomously.

  • Excellent prioritization and trade-off skills: you know how to focus a small team on what matters.

  • Analytical rigor: you make decisions with data, not gut feel alone.

  • Crystal-clear communication, written and spoken, with both technical AND non-technical audiences (customers, founders).

  • Experience with AI / automation-driven products.

  • Strong appetite for a complex, regulated domain : insurance doesn't scare you, it interests you.

  • You're comfortable with early-stage velocity and move forward without being told how.

➕ Bonus

  • Knowledge of insurance, brokerage, or fintech/insurtech.

  • Design sensibility (Figma) and the ability to produce your own prototypes/ASCII.

  • You've already been a company's first product hire or built a product function from scratch.

💡 Your first 90 days

  • 30 days: full immersion : you master the product, the brokerage market and the quoting workflow; you've spoken with 10+ customers/prospects and mapped the friction points.

  • 60 days: you've taken ownership of the roadmap, set up a simple prioritization process, and shipped a first improvement with measurable impact.

  • 90 days: you're Panora's product point of reference : the quarterly roadmap is scoped, instrumented, and aligned with sales and founders.

🎁 What we offer

  • Compensation: €70-90k depending on profile + BSPCE (stock options) (early-stage range, to be adjusted based on seniority).

  • The role of first Product at a Seed-stage insurtech: maximum impact, you build the function and will grow it as we scale.

  • Direct access to founders and customers, zero bullshit layers, fast decisions.

  • A huge, poorly-tooled market (brokerage) where every well-designed feature shows immediately.

  • Hybrid, small tight-knit team, a culture of ownership and speed.
