About the Role:
We are seeking a strong, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who can operate across multiple warehouse functions — Inbound Processing, Slab operations, Fulfillment, Inventory, and general product movement. This leader is responsible for throughput, accuracy, team discipline, and operational consistency across the entire warehouse.
The right candidate is a true generalist: someone who can jump into any workflow, diagnose issues quickly, enforce standards, and keep the team aligned to daily execution goals. If you are someone who treats operational outcomes as your responsibility, thrives in fast-paced environments, and holds yourself and others accountable, this role is for you.
Location: 43-34 32nd Place, Long Island City, 11101
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:30pm (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: $25.00 - 35.00 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
Operational Ownership
- Inbound Processing — Supervise and support all inbound receiving, sorting, and product preparation workflows to ensure items enter the warehouse accurately and efficiently.
- Fulfillment Operations — Oversee daily pick/pack/ship performance, ensuring orders are processed correctly and outbound movement stays on schedule.
- Inventory Operations — Maintain accurate stock levels, support cycle counts, and ensure products are stored and organized according to warehouse standards.
- Product Movement — Supervise inbound and outbound transfers, pallet movement, and internal routing of goods between departments.
- Slab & Specialty Workflows — Support slab preparation, grading-related handling, and specialty processing tasks requiring precision and consistency.
Team Leadership and Accountability
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse associates across multiple functions, ensuring they meet clear productivity, accuracy, and throughput expectations.
- Build a culture of urgency, discipline, and pride in execution by setting daily standards and providing direct coaching with real-time feedback.
- Hold team members accountable to operational KPIs, workflow completion, and adherence to warehouse procedures.
Process Improvement and Collaboration
- Identify workflow inefficiencies across inbound, slab, fulfillment, and inventory operations; propose and implement practical optimizations that improve throughput and reduce errors.
- Partner with operations leadership to build, refine, and maintain a complete SOP library covering all warehouse functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Inventory, Customer Support, Livestream, Retail) to resolve warehouse-related issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of warehouse or operations management experience, including hands-on supervision of teams across multiple workflows.
- Bilingual speaker (English / Spanish)
- Strong understanding of inbound processing, inventory control, fulfillment operations, and general warehouse logistics.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and familiarity with developing structured SOPs.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in the TCG industry or a strong passion for trading card games.
Results:
- Employees consistently meet or exceed throughput, accuracy, and execution KPIs through clear expectations, structured coaching, and consistent accountability.
- Operational inefficiencies are identified early, with thoughtful optimizations proposed and implemented within the first 90 days.
- A complete, organized SOP library is developed and maintained, with staff retraining reaching 100% completion as standards evolve.
- Cross-departmental issues ( inventory discrepancies, inbound delays, fulfillment bottlenecks, slab workflow gaps) are surfaced quickly and resolved with minimal disruption.
Benefits:
- Health Insurance
- Dental & Vision Coverage
- Paid time off
- 401k
- Employee Discounts
- Gym Membership Reimbursements
