We operate with our own trucks and warehouse space, giving us the ability to handle all types of cargo—whether it's a full container load (FCL) or less-than-container load (LCL). We offer multiple sailings each week, giving you flexible options that meet your schedule.

The Receiving Specialist position is responsible for daily verification of all inbound/outbound paperwork, following quality processes and standard operation procedures. Also, to provide solutions to help manage a variety of freight that will go through the steamship lines services. In addition, they will build relationships with current and new customers by providing excellent customer service and logistics knowledge.
Responsibilities:
· Assist all truckers by answering any questions they have upon arrival.
· Verify all inbound and outbound paperwork for accurate temperature, quantities, and additional customer-based requirements.
· Ensure quality processes are followed during the receiving process.
· Verify all check payments.
· Direct all inbound loads received to the appropriate dock.
· Verify all inbound appointment requests.
· Create labels.
· Close loads.
· Create Doc receipts .
· Ensure Overpacks are correct.
· Release loaded containers to the port.
· Follow all Standard Operation Procedures.
· Perform any tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED.
· 3+ years of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
· Strong verbal communication skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
· Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
· Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Because of the open work environment, the noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee must be able to work in multiple temperatures. The use of computers is up to 80% of each day.
Shift Time Monday–Friday, with availability between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., based on business needs. Overtime may be required.
