CUSTOMER SERVICE TECHNICIAN/INSTALLATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

PBS Cayman, a trusted provider of business solutions in the Cayman Islands, is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused professional to join our Service team as an Installation Service Technician.

About the Role: Based in Grand Cayman and reporting to the Technical Service Manager, this full-time, permanent position is responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of equipment, and identifying and replacing defective components. You will assist, educate, and explain to clients the specific problems with their equipment, as well as guide them through setting up and using new equipment. Support is provided to customers both on-site and from the office. The role also involves managing inventory, submitting paperwork and parts expenses, and following tasks through to completion. The role suits someone who works well independently and takes pride in solving problems others can't. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional weekend work required based on client demands.

What We're Looking For: An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, together with at least five (5) years' experience in a technical support role. Candidates must hold a valid driver's licence and have their own reliable motor vehicle. Must be reliable, with excellent client-facing skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

What We Offer: A salary of KYD 48,000 to KYD 60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus health insurance, pension, and vacation leave.
