Junior Accountant

Work4u International is seeking, on behalf of a leading company in the healthcare services sector, a Junior Accountant to join its Finance Department in Athens.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accounting transactions in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards.
Process, classify, and archive accounting documents.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, customers, suppliers, and general ledger accounts.
Reconcile accounting records with electronic platforms, including myDATA and e-send.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist with VAT-related accounting processes and financial reporting activities.
Work with ERP and accounting software to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and company policies.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
Good understanding of Greek Accounting Standards.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Good command of the English language.
Experience with ERP/accounting software (knowledge of Epsilon Net Pylon will be considered an asset).
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
