Pay: $25–$30/hour + Shift Differential + Quarterly Profit Sharing
Available Shifts
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (+10%)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (+15%)
- Weekend Shifts: (+20%)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking skilled Mold Builders, Mold Makers, Tool & Die Makers, and Precision Machinists to join a growing Tool Room team supporting the production of highly engineered micro-sized components used in life-saving medical devices, aerospace applications, and advanced technologies.
This is not a production machining role. You will build brand-new precision steel molds from start to finish while working with some of the most advanced tooling and machining equipment in the industry.
Projects involve extremely tight tolerances — often measured in microns — requiring exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
- Build new precision steel injection molds.
- Machine mold components using CNC mills, EDM sinkers, EDM hole burners, lathes, grinders, mills, and saws.
- Read engineering drawings, CAD files, and specifications.
- Assemble, fit, troubleshoot, and inspect mold components.
- Use microscopes and precision measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Support tooling improvements and new mold development.
- Potentially lead tooling projects.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of mold making, tool & die, or precision machining experience OR completion of a Tool & Die program.
- Experience building molds and tooling components.
- CNC mill and EDM experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD files.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Stable work history and long-term mindset.
