What You'll Do

  • Lead daily retail operations to achieve sales, production, and customer service goals
  • Coach, train, and develop team members for success
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
  • Motivate employees while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Maintain merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store presentation standards
  • Monitor financial performance and support budget and operational goals
  • Promote donation growth and support local marketing initiatives
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shopping and work environment
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
  • Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development
  • Assist with evaluating participant job performance and promoting workplace success
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of retail experience
  • 1+ year of supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer and digital skills
  • Ability to motivate others and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to Goodwill's mission, culture, and continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays


Education

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred


Work Environment

  • Retail environment with climate-controlled conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional exposure to dust, lint, donated goods, and outdoor weather conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and occasional short deadlines
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
