Job Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer II serves as a senior technical resource responsible for supporting, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions for our clients. This role combines advanced technical expertise with exceptional customer service and communication skills.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Brunswick, Maine. While much of the work is performed from our office, the role requires approximately 25% local travel to client locations for project work, onsite troubleshooting, consultations, and technology deployments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Client Support & Escalation
- Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
- Troubleshoot complex server, cloud, network, and security issues.
- Serve as an escalation resource for junior team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues, solutions, and recommendations.
Infrastructure & Cloud Administration
- Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and related cloud services.
- Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Configure and support networks, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN technologies.
- Administer backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
Projects & Documentation
- Participate in migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
Mentorship
- Coach junior engineers.
- Share technical knowledge.
- Assist with internal training initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 2+ years in a managed services environment preferred
- Experience supporting multiple client environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
