Requirements:
- Required 1 year’s experience.
- Required 1 year of Epic charting experience.
- Previous Charge Experience required.
- Medication System: Omnicell.
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TN active RN license.
- Required 1 year’s experience for travelers.
Skills:
- Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks.
- Gastrointestinal.
- Genitourinary/Renal.
- Neurological/Psychiatric.
- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident).
- Substance Withdrawal.
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management.
- Work settings: MS/Tele.
- Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management.
- Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management.
- Medications: Heparin, Insulin, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration.
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmia, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
Special Procedures Details:
- Inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients.
- Peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.
Schedule:
- Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- Weekend Coverage: Every Other
- Float: Based on need and skill set
