Why You Should Join Us

Plaud is building the next generation intelligence infrastructure and interfaces to capture, extract, and utilize intelligence from what people say, hear, see, and think.

  • Plaud is a bootstrapped, skyrocketing, profitable company with a $300M revenue run rate achieved in just three years.

  • Define the next-gen paradigm for human-AI interaction.

  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge AI for Pro tools and play a direct role in our global expansion.

  • Work with passionate teammates who value innovation, collaboration, and customer success.

  • Grow your career in a culture that champions continuous learning and fast career development.

  • Market-competitive compensation, global exposure, and a vibrant, creativity-fueled work atmosphere.

What you will do

  • Design and continuously refine Plaud's pricing and entitlement framework. Own subscription tiers, entitlements, and add-on pricing across regions and sales channels; assess the impact of promotional activities and price adjustments; and keep the overall system coherent and defensible across markets. When a pricing assumption is contradicted by data, you propose the fix — you don't wait to be asked.

  • Develop and iterate usage-based charging strategy. As AI capabilities, service costs, and user behaviour evolve, you adjust the underlying rules to maintain a sustainable balance between user experience, willingness to pay, and gross margin.

  • Build reliable quantitative models that drive product decisions. Size the impact of different scenarios on usage, conversion, renewal, revenue, and cost; surface key assumptions and edge cases; and own the logic and conclusions so the team can make trade-offs on evidence, not instinct.

  • Drive cross-functional delivery of monetisation strategy. Work with AI product, billing, and engineering teams to align on metering definitions, data requirements, and rule configurations — ensuring new features connect cleanly to commercial rules, with outcomes that are trackable and verifiable. You treat a teammate's success as your own, and you align proactively rather than waiting to be pulled in.

  • Validate strategy performance and push for improvement. Use data analysis, user feedback, and experiment results to evaluate what's live, identify what isn't working, and drive adjustments. You ask "is this rule actually behaving as intended?" — and you find out.

Skills, qualifications and experience we look for

  • Experience in monetisation strategy or a related product domain, with direct ownership of pricing, billing strategy, auction design, budget allocation, incentive mechanisms, or economic system design and optimisation. We care more about what rules you actually designed, what trade-offs you made, and how you validated the outcome than where you worked.

  • Strong quantitative reasoning: you can map relationships across multiple variables, build and stress-test models, and stand behind your assumptions and conclusions. When a number doesn't add up, you dig in rather than accept it.

  • Ability to design solutions that balance user behaviour and business outcomes — with a clear understanding of how pricing and entitlement changes affect usage, conversion, and retention.

  • Proficiency in independent data analysis and performance evaluation; comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, or equivalent tools; able to use AI to extend your own output while applying critical judgement to what it produces.

  • Able to translate complex strategy into clear product requirements and collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ship.
