People Architects is excited to recruit for an Temporary Project Manager for our client.
This role has the opportunity to go full time.
Project Manager in Manufacturing
- Work with project and project delivery teams to meet project deadlines.
- Responsible for customer communications at transfer from the Sales Team
- Responsible for actively evaluating the project to anticipate, identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalates risks and issues when needed.
- Understand and establish the clear scope of work for any project.
- Cultivating trust and managing expectations with all project stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Service, and Operations)
- Identify needs for additional resources and adjustments needed to meet client expectations.
- Focused on improving project timelines without sacrificing quality.
- Involved in reviewing products, processes, and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
- Provide input on developing standards and procedures related to project matters.
- Manage the projects and deliverables; align the Team.
- Present progress reports to upper management in regular production review meetings.
- Research strategies to further improve the customer experience.
- Implementing customer satisfaction strategies to improve quality of PTI’s solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ Years Experience in Project Management/Manufacturing
- Demonstrate leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Six-Sigma and PMP Training a Valuable Asset
- Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical field
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access)
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Highly detail and schedule oriented
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
