The role:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
- Drive India supply chain activities to ensure full compliance with country/sector compliance policies, procedures and standards.
- Take ownership and responsibility for ensuring the highest level of safety & ethics in their respective areas as well as coordinating with other areas to remain aligned with region/site-wide rules, policies, and initiatives.
- Manage India’s overall end to end supply chain performance including customer service, demand and supply planning, inventory control, materials management, transportation & distribution (import and export), trade compliance and warehouse, etc.
- Develop/facilitate supply chain strategy for India to support business priorities and profitability.
- Drive supply chain excellence initiatives in line with sector/India overall objectives and strategy, including optimise Customer Performance with a clear Focus on Cost and Cash Flow.
- Develop supply chain tools and processes, tracks relevant KPIs and based on analysis of relevant information that leads to improvement system.
- Identify and optimise opportunities for procurement leverage, working with the Strategic raw material team, and leading efforts in collaboration with Procurement function. Researches, negotiates, maintains, and regularly evaluates relationships and contracts with external suppliers so to ensure optimal supply efficiencies that meet its standards of quality, security, timeliness, and cost.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Supply Chain Management Experience for min 5 years
Experienced working in a complex environment potentially Global Exposure
Team Leading experience with excellent communication skills
Chemical Manufacturing Background is preferred
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelors Degree is a must, preferably from Supply Chain, Engineering and other related.
