Technical Business Analyst
Technical Business Analyst (AI-driven process improvement)
6-Month Fixed Term Contract with potential for extension
Denver Technology is a technology consultancy based in Perth, with offices in Brisbane and London. For 35 years we have worked with energy, resources and asset-intensive organisations across Australia and overseas, running projects that hold up in production. We back people who do careful work and explain it well.
The role
We want a Technical Business Analyst to work with senior leaders, find the business's pain points, map how the work runs today, and set the requirements for AI and automation that fix them. You will sit between the business and the delivery teams in an agile environment, turning what the business needs into requirements a development team can build from. The role is visible across the business, so clear communication with technical and non-technical people matters.
What we offer
- Competitive Salaries: Employees can expect competitive and benchmarked salaries, ensuring fair compensation for their skills and contributions.
- Training and Certification Budgets: We invest in the professional growth of our people by allocating budgets for training and certification.
- Employee Assistance Programme: An Employee Assistance Programme is in place to support the well-being and mental health of employees.
- Active Social Club and Social Events: We foster a vibrant social culture with an active social club.
- Regular Celebrations: We take pride in acknowledging and celebrating both our achievements and our people.
What you'll do
- Run discovery interviews and workshops with senior management to surface pain points, challenges and objectives.
- Build process flow charts, value stream maps, and as-is and to-be diagrams in tools such as Visio or Miro.
- Run SWOT and gap analyses to show where the business can improve.
- Elicit, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements, and turn them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Identify and propose AI and automation solutions that answer the business need.
- Work with solution architects, product owners and development teams so solutions stay tied to the business goal and technically feasible.
- Support change management, training and adoption of new AI and automation capability.
