Job Description:

The Sr. Director, Supply Chain is a strategic leadership role responsible for end-to-end supply chain management at Lattice Semiconductor. This leader will drive supply continuity, procurement strategy, demand and supply planning, logistics, and supplier relationship management across a complex global semiconductor ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in semiconductor supply chains, a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams, and the operational discipline to execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a multi-year global supply chain strategy aligned with Lattice's business objectives and growth targets.

  • Build, lead and develop a direct team of supply chain professionals spanning planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier quality functions.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure cross-functional alignment on supply chain priorities.

Supply Planning & Demand Management

  • Oversee integrated demand and supply planning (S&OP/IBP) processes to ensure adequate inventory positioning and customer on-time delivery.  Manage customer interactions on supply.

  • Develop supply risk mitigation strategies including dual-sourcing, buffer inventory, and alternate process qualification.

  • Lead capacity planning discussions with wafer foundries, OSAT partners, and contract manufacturers to secure supply commitments.  Drive loading at foundries and OSAT’s.

  • Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, planning cycle time, and inventory efficiency metrics.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Develop and execute global sourcing and procurement strategies for wafers, substrates, test services, and indirect spend categories.

  • Negotiate long-term supply agreements and strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and supply security.

  • Establish and maintain a robust supplier scorecard program tracking quality, delivery, cost, and innovation KPIs.

  • Lead supplier development initiatives to improve capability, capacity, and qualification of strategic supply base.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the semiconductor industry.

  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor supply chain dynamics including wafer procurement, OSAT, substrate sourcing, and test operations.

  • Demonstrated success leading S&OP/IBP processes and improving supply chain metrics at scale.

  • Proven track record negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic partnerships, with an established network of relationships across Taiwan-based foundries, OSATs, and substrate manufacturers.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing substantial procurement budgets and delivering cost savings.

  • Experience with global trade compliance and export control regulations relevant to semiconductor products.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification, or equivalent supply chain credential.

  • Familiarity with FPGA or programmable logic product supply chains.

  • Experience operating in a fabless or fab-lite semiconductor business model.
