Activities Assistant - Senior Living Community
Grand Villa of Ormond Beach is seeking a dedicated and experienced Activities Assistant to join our vibrant Senior Living Community. If you have a passion for engaging seniors through recreational activities and possess experience working in a retirement or senior care environment, we invite you to apply today. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and engagement
- Assist residents in participating in activities, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with staff and family members to develop personalized activity plans
- Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity areas are clean and inviting
- Document resident participation and provide feedback on activity effectiveness
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in recreational activities or working with seniors in a retirement or healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
