Your Impact

As a cashier, you are the face of Hippo Pockets and vital to our guest experience. You will ensure friendly service, accurate transaction processing, and a welcoming front-of-house environment, and will...

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude and take their orders accurately
• Process transactions efficiently using the POS system via cash, credit, or mobile payments
• Assist with QR code and kiosk ordering
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and current promotions
• Balance cash register drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
• Expedite food and prepare take-out orders
• Assemble and double-check take-out and delivery orders for completeness
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front counter and register station
• Assist with restocking beverage stations, utensils, and dining area supplies
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns gracefully and escalate issues to management when necessary
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant before, during and after each shift
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Complete opening and closing tasks in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with our team as a whole to improve both the guest and employee experiences
