About SSA

We provide mission-critical safety and compliance services to pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital and research organizations across the US, Puerto Rico, the UK and Europe. Since 2023 we have grown from $0 to $20M EBITDA with no outside equity (#175 on the Inc. 5000).

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Onboarding: Own the full new-hire experience, from offer acceptance through the first 90 days: paperwork, I-9 and E-Verify, ADP setup, equipment and system access coordination, orientation, and timely check-ins.
  • Offboarding: Manage all employee exits with professionalism and care, including final pay coordination, benefits and COBRA notices, equipment and access recovery, exit interviews, and record updates.
  • Branch support: Serve as a trusted HR resource for branch leaders and employees across our locations, providing guidance on employee relations, performance conversations, documentation, and HR best practices.
  • Benefits & 401(k): Act as a first-line resource for employee questions on medical, dental, vision, life insurance, leave, and 401(k); support open enrollment and life-event changes, and partner with our benefits broker and plan providers to resolve issues.
  • Policy guidance: Interpret and communicate company policies and the employee handbook; help keep policies current and consistently applied across branches.
  • ADP Workforce Now: Maintain accurate employee data in ADP WFN, process employee changes (job, pay, location, status), and help branches and employees use self-service tools effectively.
  • Compliance: Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, including required postings, leave administration, and recordkeeping.
  • Integrations & process improvement: Help onboard employees from newly acquired companies onto SSA's systems, benefits, and policies, and build checklists, templates, and workflows that make our HR processes scalable.

  • Employee records in ADP WFN are accurate and audit-ready.
