The Opportunity
The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations team and senior leadership to help the company achieve its business objectives, execute on improvement initiatives, and fulfill key operational activities. You will work closely with the firm’s Operations team daily, with a primary focus on the firm’s recruitment and talent management operations, and will use and help build the firm’s AI tooling across these processes. You will be an important member of a professional team and will be instrumental in shaping the culture and success of the firm.
The role requires strong judgment, a high level of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders. The role is designed to grow: as you develop, the intent is that you assume increasing ownership of the recruitment function and of the operational processes you run.
The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Driving and delivering on recruitment operations end to end: candidate progression, assessment administration, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and timely follow-ups
Maintaining recruiting systems and data (e.g., the ATS) with accurate stages, notes, and score capture, and producing weekly recruiting reporting for management
Supporting talent sourcing activities and candidate outreach in collaboration with the hiring lead
Coordinating onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation, and maintaining organized employee records
Supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of operations projects, business processes, and systems to improve functional efficiency and effectiveness within the business operations
Applying, and helping build, AI and technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across core business processes
Supporting the development and management of internal and external communications
Preparing reporting materials and updating management on the status and performance of operational and hiring initiatives
Supporting business development production and broader team operations with remaining capacity
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a competitive field, preferably commerce, management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Relevant experience is a plus, in areas such as business operations, recruiting operations, business or market research, business analysis, or coordination-heavy roles
Demonstrated fluency with AI systems and tools, and comfort using them in day-to-day work
Experience building with AI tools, such as automations, workflows, or small applications, is a strong asset
Experience with Python, VBA, SQL, and recruitment software suites is an asset
Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment and understanding of HR practices is an asset
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives or projects, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a team environment that requires high initiative, minimal supervision, and an ability to address shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment
Discretion and trustworthiness with confidential information, including candidate and personnel matters
