Procurement and Logistics Specialist

Securityhunter, Inc. - Securityhunter is an employee-owned company providing electronic and physical security solutions to federal customers and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. We are interested in expanding our team to meet the demand of our federal clients. 

Job Description:

• Enter Purchase Orders into the accounting system (Unanet)
• Track Purchase Orders and assist with managing shared Purchase Order folders
• Contact vendors to expedite ordering and shipping when needed
• Work with accounting to resolve any vendor invoice issues
• Process and scan packing slips from incoming equipment
• Account for receipt of all line items on individual Purchase Orders as equipment is received
• Assist warehouse manager with logistics and material inventory/counting
• Communicate with new vendors in order to create their profiles inside of the accounting system
• Inventory and order office, warehouse or cleaning supplies when needed
• Ensure line items on vendor equipment invoices represent equipment that has been received
• Assist with warehouse inventories when needed
• Assist with preparing shipments when needed
• Assist with warranty tracking efforts when needed

Required Work Experience and Skills:

• Shipping/Receiving/Logistics/Procurement experience desired

• Written and verbal communications skills required
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) knowledge required
• Organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a Federal Government background check (criminal and civil check).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb; stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; lift, use hands to finger, use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; light lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. This position is typically performed in a traditional office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay Scale: $20 to $23 per hour
