We are looking for a fixed-term Legal Administrator to support within our Auckland Litigation team, covering for approximately 9 months. This role will keep you busy with a varied and interesting workload while working within a social and supportive environment.

 

Experience in a legal environment with exposure to Litigation or Patents would be highly beneficial. We would also love to receive applications from candidates with a strong professional services administrative or PA background.  

 

The role will include:

  • Providing proactive and professional support including calendar, email and meeting management
  • Administering the onboarding of new clients and opening of matters incl. supporting the AML process
  • Leading the billing, matter management, client reporting and debtor management processes.
  • Producing legal and correspondence documents to a high standard within specified timeframes
  • Facilitating Chapman Tripp's client relationships and business development through the use of InterAction, Aderant and other tools/systems
  • Working collaboratively within the team and across Chapman Tripp

 

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in a legal support or PA/Team support role
  • Litigation or Patents experience would be highly regarded
  • Strong client service focus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organisation and time-management skills
  • IT savvy and adaptable nature
  • Pro-active forward-thinking approach
