We are looking for a Legal Manager to join our team.
Main Duties:
- Manage all legal affairs related to the Egypt region, including commercial licenses and applicable commercial laws.
- Support the Egypt business and coordinate with Headquarters Legal to ensure all legal activities, risks, and litigation matters are effectively managed and reported.
- Act as Company Secretary for Egypt legal entities (where applicable) and provide guidance on Corporate Governance in collaboration with the Legal Director, Egypt.
- Provide legal support to the Business Development function and assist Headquarters Legal on business development transactions, including M&A and in-licensing activities when required.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and transactional agreements, including licensing, distribution, service, promotional, marketing, and regulatory-related agreements.
- Implement processes and training programs to identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks across the Egypt region.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the pharmaceutical industry and provide timely legal guidance. Ensure that all contracts, legal documents, and templates remain compliant with local legal requirements.
- Maintain contract repositories and ensure the electronic corporate contract database is up to date. Provide accurate, practical, and timely legal advice to all business functions in support of organizational objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's Degree is a plus).
- 5–7 years of legal experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Good understanding of Egyptian laws and regulations relevant to corporate and commercial activities. Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
