Business Operations Lead

SingaporeFull TimePosted Jul 15, 2026

Role Purpose

Our BD, CSM, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Systems teams sit on different reporting lines — which means processes, standards, and decisions are often made in isolation, and the friction shows up downstream. This role exists to fix that.

As Business Operations Lead, you'll own the operating system that makes cross-team work coherent: the standards, decision rights, and workflows that get independent teams working from a shared playbook. This is a build role. Much of the groundwork is in place; you'll take it over, make it real, and expand its scope over time.

You won't have authority over the teams you serve — you'll earn adoption by designing things people actually want to use, and by facilitating the conversations that get everyone aligned. If creating order out of cross-functional ambiguity is the kind of problem that energises you, this role has a lot of it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build cross-functional standards: Design, document, and maintain the SOPs, playbooks, and decision-rights frameworks that resolve friction between BD, CSM, Finance, RevOps, and Systems — and get teams to actually adopt them.
  • Facilitate alignment: Run the working sessions and cross-team conversations that turn competing priorities into agreed ways of working, without formal authority over the teams involved.
  • Own the business rhythm: Design and manage the strategic meeting cadence (Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews), keeping leadership aligned on priorities and progress.
  • Drive process improvement: Identify where cross-team workflows break down, and lead the projects that fix them end-to-end — from diagnosis through rollout and adoption.
  • Establish governance: Create the policy and performance evaluation frameworks that ensure consistent decision-making as the organisation scales.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in operations, strategy, or a cross-functional role, with at least one clear example of building a process or policy structure that multiple independent teams adopted. This is the core of the role — we care more about what you've built than about years on paper.
  • Structure-building: Demonstrated experience designing, documenting, or governing cross-functional standards — SOPs, playbooks, decision-rights matrices, or governance frameworks. You've written the thing nobody asked for and gotten people to follow it.
  • Navigating ambiguity: A track record of providing structure and direction in undefined environments, where there's no precedent or template to start from.
  • Influence without authority: Proven ability to build trust and drive adoption across departments you don't manage — through credibility, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Systems thinking: The ability to see how the parts of an organisation connect, and to design logical, scalable structures that hold up as things grow.
  • A plus, not required: Experience mentoring or leading others. This role starts as an individual contributor, with potential to grow in scope over time.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required for all candidates. Cantonese is mandatory for candidates based in Hong Kong, and an advantage in Singapore.
