Plantana Condominiums is seeking a reliable, organized, and hardworking Laundry & Operations Attendant to join our Housekeeping Department.

For more than four decades, Plantana has welcomed owners and guests from around the world. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a continuous supply of clean, high-quality linens while supporting the efficient turnover of guest accommodations. Working under the direction of the Head Housekeeper, this role combines primary responsibility for laundry operations with operational duties that maximize productivity throughout the workday.

This position reports directly to the Head Housekeeper. Daily priorities are assigned by the Head Housekeeper or Management based on operational needs.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include managing the property's laundry operation and supporting efficient housekeeping operations, including:

Laundry Operations

• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute guest linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Maintain appropriate par levels of clean linens and towels.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, and overall quality.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe laundry room.
• Report equipment issues, damaged linens, and supply shortages.
• Assist with linen inventory and stock rotation.

Linen Management & Operations

• Collect soiled linens from guest units and transport them to the laundry.
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping closets and designated storage areas.
• Remove bagged rubbish from guest units during room turnovers.
• Strip beds in departing guest units when operationally required.
• Restock housekeeping carts and supply areas.
• Deliver guest requests such as towels, linens, cots, and other amenities.
• Assist with unit preparation, annual deep cleaning, and seasonal closure activities.
• Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Head Housekeeper or Management to support the efficient operation of the property.

Teamwork & Guest Service

• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, Grounds, and other departments.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests.
• Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or within a hotel, resort, or condominium environment.
• Has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Works efficiently and independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use the mobile applications and technology used by Plantana to receive daily assignments, record completed work, communicate with the team, and accurately record time worked.
• Communicates effectively in spoken English.
• Is reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
• Is available to work weekends, public holidays, and peak occupancy periods.
• Is physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, performing repetitive physical tasks, and regularly climbing up to three flights of stairs while carrying linens, supplies, and equipment.

Eligibility
